2024 Mazda BT-50 facelift revealed in Thailand with additional features

ABU DHABI: For the 2024 model year, Mazda has given its BT-50 pickup truck an update. These updates include enhancements to Double Cab and Freestyle Cab variants. These updated models are available at the price ranging between THB 752,000 (AED 347,175) and THB 1,272,000 (AED 5,888,088), providing customers with different options to choose from.

The design of all the variants of the Mazda BT-50 pickup truck has been updated. These updates include a new Rock Gray color option and a glossy black "Signature Wing" front grille. Additionally, Mazda comes with a glossy black "Black Thunder" exterior package, which includes the sports bar, front bumper, wheel fenders, 18-inch alloy wheels, and door handles, to further customize the vehicle’s appearance. These design updates have been done to give a fresh look to the BT-50 and offer customers an option to personalize their pickup trucks.

The Mazda BT-50 features a top-quality interior with seat upholstery in two-tone for added style and comfort. The baseline model now comes with a 7-inch centre touchscreen, while a larger 9-inch touchscreen display is available in higher variants.

In terms of safety and performance, the BT-50’s 4WD variant is equipped with Rough Terrain Mode, paddle shifters, and electronic differential lock for enhanced control and traction in various driving conditions. Furthermore, the vehicle is equipped with an intelligent safety package including adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, automatic high beam assist, and lane departure warning. These features ensure an enjoyable and worry-free driving experience for both the passengers and the driver.

The Mazda BT-50 pickup truck is available in two Euro 5 diesel turbo engines: a 190-hp 3.0-litre engine and a 150-hp 1.9-litre engine. Customers can choose between a six-speed manual or automatic transmission.

The Mazda BT-50 pickup truck has leveraged the expertise of Isuzu in pickup truck manufacturing by sharing its platform with the Isuzu D-MAX. The BT 50 will also be manufactured in Thailand at Isuzu's assembly plant.
