Mazda expands its SUV lineup with the introduction of the CX-70

ABU DHABI: Mazda's SUV lineup showcases its premium brand strategy, with the compact CX-50 and midsize CX-90 flagship catering to different kinds of buyers. Now, Mazda has taken the wraps off the CX-70 that straddles between these two models. 

The all-new CX-70 has been designed keeping in mind the North American consumers. This new two-row model boasts many features that cater to the preferences of car enthusiasts in this region. The SUV offers a balance of versatility, performance, and style, aligning with the commitment of Mazda to delivering vehicles that are both practical and enjoyable to drive.

The Mazda CX-70 comes with hybrid powertrains, including the M Hybrid Boost system and a plug-in variant. These powertrains combine electric motors with gasoline engines, aligning with the electrification efforts of the brand. With its newest offering, Mazda aims to balance driving pleasure with environmental performance.

With the CX-70's versatile features and sporty design Mazda targets active North American car enthusiasts. The SUV features a vibrant burgundy interior and dynamic exterior elements, reflecting an active lifestyle. A power remote fold function is available for the second-row seats maximizing the cargo space. For gear and personal items, the Mazda CX-70 comes with three underfloor storage compartments. 

The Mazda CX-70 is expected to roll out in Canada and the United States in spring (from March to May). The pricing details have not been revealed yet. Mazda has not revealed anything about the introduction of this model in the UAE.
