2023 Nissan Almera facelift arrives in Thailand

ABU DHABI: Nissan is one of the most iconic car brands that has made a huge impact on the automotive industry. It is once again ready to blow away auto enthusiasts with the launch of the 2023 Nissan Almera facelift. This facelifted version comes with enhanced safety features and a brand-new look.

  • The Nissan Almera facelift exhibits the latest “V-motion” look that it has borrowed from its American twin Nissan Versa. It features a new front grille design and a High Beam Assist (HBA) system. The bumper gets a reshaped front apron and smoother corners, but the rest of the body remains unchanged. 

    The car will be available in two new body colours –Grey Sky Pearl and Milk Grey. There are four variants available for the Thai market- E, EL, V, and VL. 

    It is powered by a 1.0 litre turbocharged inline-three-cylinder engine which produces 100 PS of maximum power and 152 Nm of peak torque. The manual transmission option has been dropped in Thailand, and now it only comes with CVT. 

    Conveniences in the 2023 Nissan Almera facelift include the NissanConnect infotainment setup with Google Maps navigation via an eight-inch touchscreen and support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. 

    All Thai-spec variants of the 2023 Nissan Almera facelift come with six airbags. Another safety feature that has been added is the tire pressure monitoring system. A few other standard safety features include high beam assist and lane departure warning. In the higher trims, wireless charging is also available.

    As per a few reports, the 2023 Nissan Almera facelift may not arrive in the UAE anytime soon as it is targeting the countries where its previous versions have been successful.
