The polo Sedan is able to detract any complain from customer with its cruise control system, climatic air conditioning system and an otherwise basic audio system. A radio with a CD/MP3 player is included in the base model. The new subcompact sedan possesses dignified looks because of its chromium grill, horizontal contours, tail lights and side mirrors that accentuates its sides. Polo Sedan seems to have adopted the same philosophy as its sibling Jetta and Passat to cut cost and make it larger than anything else in its class. The Polo Sedan is coming in two trim levels: Polo Sedan S and Polo Sedan SE, both with 1.6-litre four cylinder engine, mated to a 6 speed tiptronic automatic transmission, with 0 to 100km/h acceleration of 12.1 sec and top speed of 187km/h. It puts out 105 hp of power and a max torque of 153 Nm at 3800 rpm. For those who are concerned about the fuel economy, the polo sedan crosses 100 km of distance in exchange for 7-litres of gasoline which is a decent output.

Volkswagen Polo gives manifold safety to driver and passengers with Anti lock braking system along with front airbags, head restraints, seatbelt pretensioners, rear parking sensors and fog lamps. Polo is also in accordance with Emission standard, EU4 making it an environment friendly car. Its antilock braking system helps in slippery conditions and senses the panic braking situation, maintaining traction with the road surface which prevents the wheel from locking and avoids skidding.

Verdict:

The Polo Sedan is a nice extension of the Polo with decent ride quality and rich interiors but it lacks the refreshment of a full fledged sedan that its rivals posses.
