The interior is carefully setup which follows generic Porsche cockpit, a new steering wheel which is a change from the one on the Cayenne. The cargo space doesn't really seem bad at all from any aspect, being an elite practicality is secondary. However, this isn't the case with Macan which delivers an efficient bootspace of 501 litres seats up.

Its aluminum hood arcs from windshield to grille and from tire to tire has the ability to eliminate unseemly seams. With its staggered-size wheels and tires, swollen rear haunches Macan houses a tail-heavy 911 look. The Porsche Macan is featured with 3 variants, first is Macan S which comes equipped with 3.0-litre twin turbo V6 engine offering 340 hp maximum power output with a maximum torque of 460 Nm and is able to accelerate upto 0-100kmph within just 5.4 seconds reaching a top speed of 254 kmph. The second variant Macan turbo S gets a 3.6-litre turbo charged petrol engine and is believed to be the most powerful vehicle in compact SUV section with 400 hp power output with a maximum torque of 550 Nm, maximum speed measuring 266 kmph and 0-100 kmph acceleration from a halt within 4.8 seconds. The third Porsche Macan S diesel is empowered by 3.0-litre V6 turbo-diesel engine producing 245 hp power and 580 Nm of torque which can access max speed of 230kmph. Both Macan S and Macan turbo provides fuel economy between 11-12 kmpl on average whereas the Macan S diesel has fuel consumption of 14-16 kmpl in urban condition.

The Macan models are well-equipped with 6-piston aluminium monobloc fixed brake calipers, 360mm diameter brake discs intrinsically vented for consistent high braking power and cope with performance capability of Macan model. Verdict

Although the Porsche Macan can not be said as flawless, it is the most refined car having classiest cabin. The way it blends agility, comfort and nimbleness, equipped with optional air suspension, the crossover can therefore can be called as a groundbreaking in its class.
