Ford F-150 vs Nissan Patrol Pickup Comparison

The Ford F-150 makes a lot of sense here in the UAE where trucks are becoming more common. I use it partly for work, carrying tools and some heavy materials, and sometimes just as a weekend vehicle. The engine is a beast, it feels powerful no matter how much load you put in the back. The cabin is surprisingly luxurious for a truck, and that’s what makes it so good here. It’s big in size though, so parking in crowded areas isn’t always easy. But the road presence is unmatched. You feel in control on highways, and even desert trips near Al Ain are fun with this. It’s both practical and a bit of a lifestyle choice for me.

I would concede that Nissan is offering a quite capable and powerful pickup in Patrol in the Emirates markets right now. I came to this conclusion after spending some time checking out the Patrol to replace the one I have had with me for 8 years now. I think the Patrol is a very practical pickup without many fancy features but right on top in delivering your business needs. The single cabin configuration means only two passenger seating, however, what really matters the most is what it does for you to haul your heavy and bulk cargo.
