iCAUR Set to Introduce the V27 Full-Size Electric SUV in the UAE

A new company is making its way into the UAE’s electric vehicle scene. It is not just another EV brand, but one that combines fresh energy and great ideas. Meet iCAUR, a new-energy vehicle (NEV) brand created through a partnership between Chery’s global automotive experience and Smartmi’s internet-inspired design team, part of the Xiaomi family.

Chery’s Technical Strength meets Smartmi’s Design Skills

Behind the scenes, iCAUR benefits from Chery’s technical skills and manufacturing strength. Chery is known as China’s top car exporter. On the design side, Smartmi (linked to Xiaomi) adds quick, user-friendly innovation. The focus is on listening to customer feedback and keeping designs minimal and smart.

iCAUR V27 – Key Highlights

For the UAE launch, iCAUR will introduce the V27. It is a full-size SUV built with regional needs in mind. The V27 combines a boxy shape, plenty of space inside, and practical tech features.

The V27 stretches about 5 meters in length. It has big bumpers and prominent wheel arches that give it a tough look. It sits on large black alloy wheels that command attention on the road.

The front design includes rectangular headlights with circular LED daytime lights inside. This creates a look that mixes retro and modern styles. The side mirrors are big, making it easier to see behind, and they add to the practical design.

At the back, there is a side-hinged tailgate with built-in storage. The tail lights are tall and slim, and a small roof spoiler finishes off the design. All these elements make the V27 both useful and eye-catching.

The brand offers a modular approach, which means owners can add upgrades and personal touches to their vehicles. Customers will find a range of accessories available directly from the company.

iCaur V23 - Key Highlights

Apart from the full-sized SUV, the brand is also planning to launch a compact SUV. The iCAUR V23 was shown last year at the Beijing Motor Show. It is a small, tough-looking SUV with a classic 4×4 style. It comes in two versions: single-motor rear-wheel drive and dual-motor all-wheel drive. Its range varies from 300 to 500 km, depending on the battery size and layout.

With its boxy shape and 210 mm ground clearance, the V23 is built for more than city streets. It also has good off-road features, like a 43° approach angle and a 41° departure angle.

iCAUR’s first showroom in the UAE will soon open. At first, only the V27 will be available. More models are expected to join in the future.
