Interior

The broad X shaped grills is a shining cowl to the car which is further bonded with sharp looking headlights and sporty looking fog lamps. The rear is somehow unusual and seems to be a wagon like thing. It measures its dimension with length as 4320 mm, width as 1765 mm and height as 1430 mm along with a wheelbase of 2600 mm which makes the car decently spacious inside. The car comes employed with 16 inch alloy wheels which are wrapped up in 205/55 R16 rubbers.

Engine, Mileage and Variant

There are significant similarities between the Lexus CT and the Toyota Prius. Both these cars are have same engines and they perform quite close to one another. The 1.8 liter in-line 4 cylinder engine churns out 99 hp of power at 5200 rpm coupled with a peak torque of 142 Nm at 2800 rpm. The electric motor deployed in the car is equally efficient and can churn out a maximum power of 82 hp alongwith 207 Nm of torque. The car picks up number quite swiftly and can attain 0-100 km/hr in 10.3 seconds. The 1.8 litre engine can deliver a mileage of 26.3 kmpl which is quite an exceptional figure.

Safety

The Lexus CT is a highly safe vehicle as it is made up of high tensile metal sheets and effective zones for the impact resistance. The car also has a badge from Toyota which makes it extremely decisive towards safety and self sake. It is composed of a number of safety aspects including anti lock braking system, electronic brake force distribution, brake assist, multiple airbags, electronic stability program and traction control. The stability over the different road conditions is great but not as per the European standards. However, the crash test results have given 5 stars to this car which is a great thing.
