Dodge Durango (2012-2021)

Recently my friend has opted for this hefty family car and he is quite satisfied with this. He added how he got marveled at the presence of robust engine options in this. Other than that the car can surely stun you with its exquisite comfort on the go and fascinating towing capability. The car is offering decent space both for passenger space and cargo area. Yet there are quite a few reasons for the car not coming into prominence. Few of the noteworthy ones are its dated cabin and not so remarkable fuel economy. Handling wise also the model is neither so impressive one.

One of the main things I have always liked about the Dodge Durango since I bought it was its impressive engine capacity. The big 6.8-litre engine is nothing less than a fast and furious car. It is also one of the fastest SUVs money can buy, along with the Lamborghini, but I feel this Dodge is more practical while being insanely powerful. And one the exterior facet as well, the car looks big and classy and takes care of all the safety features that a car of this price should have.

Dodge Durango impressed me with its muscular acceleration, roomy cabin, and stout towing ability. It has a spacious cabin and can easily accommodate up to seven passengers. I have taken it on many off-road trips, and it has enthralled me with its performance. It boasts an intuitive infotainment system and offers a relaxed ride. It has a generous cargo room and seating area. The transmission's shifts are smooth and operate well in stop-and-go traffic. But the fuel economy is poor and comes with few driver-assistance features. It is also bulkier to drive than many of the competitor crossover SUVs.

The Dodge Durango's power is nothing less than what u expected it be reading the reviews and brochure ad etching the car move with style. I am just blown away by the speed, stance, and style of the car. They bought the most powerful variant of them all which is the supercharged 6.2L HEMI® V8 engine, which is capable of carrying a staggering 3,946 kg of nearly anything. My imagination is just crossed by how immensely powerful this vehicle is! The Dodge Durango has a near-perfect weight distribution between the engine and the rear drive axle allowing it the swift transfer of weight and drives with the most appealing smoothness.

Dodge Charger, Challenger and Durango are around the same price bracket, but I bought the Durango because SUVs excite me. Trust me, I have never been disappointed. Though I own the lower 3.6-litre V6 model, I don’t see the car compromising on the quality and the number of feature offering by any chance. It offers a great driving experience and the engine is super smooth. It feels very stable and secure at high speeds with stability control, rain brakes support and airbags all inside the cabin. I wouldn’t mind upgrading to another Dodge car and would recommend it to others as well.
