One can barely deny the fact that the high power of the BMW X5 M does not stand on paper only. Once you get behind the wheel, you will realise how much of fun driving it is. The high torque of the engine makes the acceleration a pure joy, even at the slightest push at the pedal.

The X5 M is sure a head-turner for the admirers interested in the engine, as it can offer the power of an M tradition BMW. The power centre of the beast offers massive power, delivered in just the right doses, with M Twinpower Turbo technology, which consists of Valvetronic, High Precision Injection and turbocharging. The engine has the capability of 567 hp along with a torque of 750 Nm.

The transmission consists of an automatic 8 shift gearbox, which is quite smooth. The top speed offered is 250kmph, and the car can reach the speed of 100kmph from standstill in 4.2 seconds.

If you are habituated to driving a BMW, you will understand that the Bavarian company does not leave any stone unturned in order to make its cars safe and secure. When it comes to the X5 M, we can surely expect the ABS and electronic brakeforce distribution to come as the standard fitments.

However, added to these, there are dual front and side curtain airbags, dynamic stability control, tyre defect sensors, and rollover sensors offered too.

The BMW X5 M is the born-and-brought-up car to be the high grunting and sporty machine. And it does live up to its expectation of being so. However, it is to be noted at all of this comes at a very hefty price tag and the closest competitor, which is the Mercedes-Benz GLE AMG is more affordable.  Plus, even the Porsche Cayenne Turbo comes at a cheaper price than the top end X5 M.
