  • Compact hatchback with a spacious cabin

    I recently purchased the Mirage as my first even brand new car. I mainly use the car for commuting to the office, covering nearly 30 km every day. Then there are occasional longer distance weekend trips. After using it for a few months, I find the Mirage an absolutely practical city car that is compact in size but offers you a lot of interior space with it. I find the car totally effortless to drive and navigate the city traffic. Thanks to the very well tuned and refined engine, a rather smooth gearbox. A wholesome car within my budget scoring well in comfort, safety, connectivity.

  • Costly but promising full electric SUV

    Are you looking for a fully electric SUV in UAE, then there are a bunch of Chinese brands available. The ET5 is one such option that offers you all the fun of an SUV but in its electric version. BYD is quite a recognized brand in the country, and several customers who want EVs are buying them. This also opens doors for other Chinese brand, the ET5 from the Skywell brand is one product that looks quite promising. For example, the SUV comes with 400 km of range which I think is exciting. At nearly AED 180,000 this is certainly not easy, but its electric powertrain, especially the lithium ion battery makes it worth it. I’m going to test drive the SUV, before making a firm conclusion as to makes sense to buy or not.
