ABU DHABI: McLaren has unveiled The 2024 GTS marking an evolution in its lineup. This model is a successor to the GT. It emphasises practicality and comes with a mid-engined configuration.

    The 2024 McLaren GTS has the same platform as the GT. There are very few changes to its bodywork and it features refreshed interior trim, subtle design updates, and increased power from its V8 twin-turbo engine.

    The 2024 McLaren GTS has inherited performance elements from the GT, featuring 390mm six-piston front, adaptive suspension, and 380mm four-piston rear carbon-ceramic brakes. It offers a 100 kmph to 0 stop in 32 metres. The key updates for the GTS include a faster nose-lift system that can lower or raise the front of the car in approximately four seconds.

    The rear boot space of the 2024 McLaren GTS is around 420 litres with an additional 150 litres in the front. It is 10 kg lighter than its predecessor and comes with new upholstery choices. It also has an optional Wilkins sound system and 12-speaker Bowers, while maintaining a 7.0-inch infotainment touchscreen and 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster.

    McLaren GTS

    Standard fitments include a gloss black carbon-fibre composite roof, with the choice of an optional panoramic glass roof at an additional cost. It is available in new exterior colours, including Mantis Green, Lava Grey, Lava Grey, and Tanzanite Blue.

    The 2024 McLaren GTS is scheduled to be released by next year in Europe, with Middle East debut details still pending.
