The Mitsubishi Xpander saves the day for my big family. With three rows, there’s room for everyone, and the wide-opening doors make school drops quick. Once, we took it for a long road trip and kids were happy with the rear air conditioning. The 1.5L engine is gentle on petrol but strong enough for full loads. Fold the last row and there’s loads of space for those big “monthly shopping” runs. It’s a sensible pick for families. I found it practical, reliable, and easy to own.

While I’m not a big fan of Mitsubishi as a brand, it has over the years now lost its touch and I don’t think of them as a big market share puller. Nobody feels attracted towards Mitsubishi cars anymore, and there are good reasons for that, a very boring and outdated portfolio of cars. However, the Xpander has some promise, as it is a big 7 seater SUV that fits well for bigger families, and without spending too much money, it offers plenty of benefits, and has been decently equipped with a large and comfortable cabin.

The new Xpander that Mitsubishi has introduced in Emeritus is a refreshing change in the seven seater SUV segment. I especially liked the High Line variant which is nicely packed with features that are now essential in this segment. The Xpander comes across a well designed car that offers comfort, safety and a lot of space inside the cabin, humongous space for luggage, you can use the last row for additional luggage. This makes it a practical family car that offers everything at a very attractive price point. I’m looking forward to a test drive of this car shortly.

I was in search for a mini sized MPV yet I needed a seven-seater car. I know it is a rare combination to seek for but trust me I got exactly the same as I encountered with the Mitsubishi Xpander. This seven-seater small-sized SUV is also getting popularity in the automobile scenario due to its considerable comfort factor. The seven-seater is surely spacious enough to ensure each of its passengers may get a comfortable ride out of it. The model may stun its riders by providing decent fuel economy returns other than a decent level of performance.
