GMC Terrain (2022-2024) SLE AWD

Being a daily commuter who drives around 60-70 miles daily, I really appreciate the GMC Terrain's tech and comfort for their long drives. However, rear visibility becomes very challenging when backing out at the office of tight parking spaces. On a windy highway stretch, I experience a little bit of cabin noise but with the excellent sound system find it manageable. Overall, the GMC Terrain is a value-packed, practical compact SUV with a few drawbacks that you can easily ignore. I laugh at vehicle reviews that state the GMC Terrain to be underpowered as it is 100% untrue.

Something which I found genuinely alluring about the car is inspite of being a middling option as a SUV in market; it has all the required credentials to compete with its other rivals in similar segment. After checking this out I could well understand how the model can tempt its rider’s inspite of not flaunting a burly exterior as a crossover. The spacious interior cabin will readily provide commendable storage compartment. Yet I would suggest the brand to improve the build quality of the car as it appeared pretty subpar to me from that context.

After using the GMC Terrain for over a year, the first thing that comes to mind is its rugged and unbreakable design. It is elegant and classy in every way possible. Its 1.5-litre turbocharged engine offers an excellent on-road performance. Since I have a small family, this five-seater SUV offers my family the necessary comfort and space. Its high-end technology makes the car more enjoyable and smooth on the road. And for the size and quality this car provides, it is definitely efficient.

With three traction control system options driving the GMC terrain has been a challenge. I switch modes between the FWD, AWD and Off road considering the terrain I have to glide through. Honestly it does what it says it'll do. I am very satisfied by the high end performance of this robust vehicle. This technology not only makes driving more enjoyable and smoother, but it also improves fuel efficiency and reduces carbon dioxide emissions. The 6 inch diagonal up display is another beautiful addition to the model that helps me keep my eyes on the road while driving because it disoskyes all necessary information on the windshield.

The rugged yet sophisticated exterior design of the vehicle precisely demonstrates the car's intention to appear elegant and stylish in every way. Something that I have been looking for. As a very frequent driver, I was aspiring for a car that has some extraness in the ability of the cabin. The car's interior designers linked the car's convenient technology and leisure features to functionality and comfort. I am having a very pleasant driving experience because of the 7-inch high-definition Touch Screen radio system, precisely responsive steering wheel, 8-way adjustable driver's seat, and ergonomically designed control panel all in support of assisting my driver!

It is safe to say that the GMC Terrain is the most modern SUV which this American SUV maker has come up with. Sure, it misses out on the intimidating appeal of the rest of the GMC SUVs I have come across till date, but then, the new and latest design trends surely make it look much more modern than anyone else. The C-shaped headlamps as well as tail lamps are surely eye catching, and look far more contemporary from the block shaped ones on the rest of GMC vehicles. And despite having a crossover-ish design, it still doesn’t miss out on the ruggedness of a traditional GMC SUV.
