A cheaper alternative
If you are not really brand conscious and want something equally as good as the big germans, the Passat is a great option. You pretty much get all the Audi tech minus the brand value. This is why I got it and have been enjoying it for close to a year now. The 170 hp engine is great for city and highway use, the automatic gearbox could have been a bit better though. You get lots of space and an enjoyable drive every time.
