In everyday driving scenarios, the Jaguar XE seems to be a rear-wheel-drive car. It is very tossable and responds reassuringly and quickly to inputs. The paddle-shifting is smooth and fast and the automatic transmission is fantastic whenever I want to take control. I was surprised with the communicative steering feel, even with the electric system. The brakes offer optimum stopping power.
