Underneath the bonnet lies a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine that’s part of Haval's newer-generation drivetrain lineup. It puts out 228 hp and a solid 380 Nm of torque, giving the H7 enough muscle to feel responsive even when fully loaded. This engine is mated to a 9-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, which aims to provide both performance and fuel efficiency in equal measure.
