Driving the Ferrari F8 was a disappointing experience, particularly with the exhaust system and engine. Despite its twin-turbo 710bhp V8, the engine did not provide the exhilarating scream and violent sound I was expecting. There was a dull thrum, lacking the exhilaration that I expected from high-performance vehicles. Even during frantic hot laps, it did not impress me. Its understated engine tones were unable to elicit the adrenaline rush I crave on the track. The lack of aural feedback and engine noise as the vehicle approached redline, made me feel disconnected from the driving experience.

Who might not have harbored the dream of driving a car that is hailing from such an exceptional pedigree like that of Ferrari. The model has taken best bits from its predecessors and the final outcome is simply spell bounding. Say the newest not so old model is well equipped with the updated hardware and styling. Even the aerodynamics of the model has seen radical improvement. The steering quality is equally top notch and attention grabbing as it is prompt, precise and light. Managing such a top notch car on street won’t appear to be a big deal. I was smitten by its comfort factor which is just mind boggling.

One of my close friends bragged so much about the Ferrari F8 Tributo that I couldn't resist trying it out. I have never owned a Ferrari car, but my friend touted F8 Tributo as the pinnacle of engineering and performance, and this instilled in me the desire to have this car in my driveway. I test-drove the car and found it to be ferocious and surprisingly quick. I have never driven any car like the Ferrari F8 Tributo in my past. Its sheer performance and the seamless blend of technology have made me a true Ferrari fan.
