Instead of going with the erstwhile conventional decision of going with a large hatchback as a first car, I deliberately experimented by making a decision of going with an entry level compact SUV in the form of Ford Ecosport. Ford has done a tremendous job in bringing a revolution with the Ecosport, as with this car, I was able to get a taste of what an SUV feels like at much affordable price. I have always heard a lot about Fords that they are generally fantastic to drive and provide great experience behind the steering wheel. And the Ecosport doesn’t fail on those expectations, and despite having a high ground clearance and relatively small wheelbase, it still feels planted on tarmac. However, the only negative aspect of this car is a cramped rear seat space, which makes the Ecosport a four seater, if you take in the comfort aspect.

The Kia Soul enthralls both the driver and passengers with its commendable road manners, spunky character, and exceptional practicality. It sports a fresh exterior design and a logical cabin layout. The learning curve is minimized by the user-friendly infotainment system. Despite its small footprint, it has a spacious interior and accommodating rear and front seats. Even on twisty roads, it remains well-mannered and absorbs both bumps and potholes effortlessly. It is also equipped with a long list of advanced safety features and standard equipment.
